With over 25 years of experience supporting children and young people in adversity, Sara partners with organisations to design thoughtful, practical solutions in child protection, education in emergencies, safeguarding, GBV, and MHPSS. Her work blends technical knowledge with storytelling and design, helping people learn, connect, and move forward together.

Track Record:

• Led the development of global Sport for Protection guidance. A randomised trial in Uganda found that the programme reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression among displaced young people.

• Co-developed a highly-praised parenting adolescents curriculum. Monitoring and Evaluation in Nigeria and South Sudan found improvements in parents’ ability to support adolescents in difficult times.
